This project was excuse to push my 3D production skills. Creating modular pieces to create scenes has been really interesting to me recently. 3D was done in Blender and brought over into Photoshop to finish up.
Literal Growth – A fake Magic the Gathering card that I made to expand my portfolio. I started with a 3D base in Blender and then painted over everything in Photoshop.
I had to the honor of being part of Light Grey Art Lab’s recent group show. Where we reflected on moments from our artist residency trip in Norway. This piece was an attempt at capturing the dreamlike landscape of the area surrounding Norheimsund and Hardangerfjord while also remembering the vast amount of artist knowledge that was shared by such a fantastic group of fellow artists.
Below is a messy gif of my process
A Dungeons and Dragons commission that I recently finished. They wanted an illustration that encompassed their friend’s group and game.
I created a chunk of the titling textures to help the 3D team on Totally Reliable Delivery Service
Hustle Beach was one of my favorite areas in Totally Reliable Delivery Service to work on. I based all the hotels off of the crazy 70s hotels that had so much character and tried to add extra character on top of that.
Package designs and package machinery designs.
Everyone’s favorite starting town; Down Town! One of my first areas that I redesigned after coming onto the project was the starting town. With the help of the team, we came up with some fun area ideas and I went to town.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service is out now! A lot of marketing art was created for the different versions and packages available in the game. I would thumbnail out a lot of ideas, the team and I would pose everything in Unity, and then I would paint over everything to spruce it up a bit.
