As we approached the release of Totally Reliable Delivery Service we wanted to fill out the world with some fun ideas that players could interact with in interesting ways. More vehicles and props around the world are always a good way to add fun!
Hustle Beach was one of my favorite areas in Totally Reliable Delivery Service to work on. I based all the hotels off of the crazy 70s hotels that had so much character and tried to add extra character on top of that.
The Golden Ruins area in Totally Reliable Delivery Service was my way of paying homage to the original concept of the game before I joined the Were Five team. I wanted to give the history of the game concept a physical manifestation
The whole We’re Five company are big fans of Rocket League and we thought it would be fun to add a goofy physics based homage inside Totally Reliable Delivery Service. It was awesome to get to design such a fun game area.
Environment Props for Totally Reliable Delivery Service. One of my first tasks that helped me get into the style was to help redesign trees and rocks.
Package designs and package machinery designs.
Whats better than building a ski lodge at the top of a perfectly good snow covered mountain?
Everyone’s favorite starting town; Down Town! One of my first areas that I redesigned after coming onto the project was the starting town. With the help of the team, we came up with some fun area ideas and I went to town.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service is out now! A lot of marketing art was created for the different versions and packages available in the game. I would thumbnail out a lot of ideas, the team and I would pose everything in Unity, and then I would paint over everything to spruce it up a bit.
