Been experimenting with different sustainable food supplies for the Life on Water universe. A kelp farm seemed like an interesting idea.

Life on Water: Svartal Blacksmith
Finally getting around to posting this one. I always imagined a Svartal Blacksmith workspace dark, smokey and gloomy. Svartals are master craftsman and engineers. Their work is expensive, but worth every penny.
Life on Water: Vaetir
Redesigning what light elves would like in this world was fairly difficult. I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel, but still wanted them to be unique for this universe. I ended up with the Vaetir; A rarely seen race that lives among the clouds.
Life on Water: Nött
The initial design for the hero’s ship. This will probably go through some more iterations as the project goes on, but I felt like this was a good starting place.
Life on Water: Svartals
Another race in the Life on Water world. I’m combining Dark Elves and Dwarves since some norse mythology interpretations state that svartálfr and dwarf may be the same concept.
The Svartals are a short, amphibious race that emerged out of the ocean several years after the Great Flood. The Svartals are grouchy, nasty creatures that only make of up for their lack of social skill with their great craftsmanships. Most of the forges in the flooded world are maned by Svartals.
Life on Water: The Weavers
Before I started the painting I wanted to decide what the The Norns would look like. After the spider lady became so interesting, I decided that I would call them The Weavers since it better suited their design. They see all and know all and record it into their spun their webs and tapestries.
Life on Water: Tapestries of Fate
“Delling. You’re early,” The Weaver said, “You aren’t supposed to be here yet.“
Delling remained quiet. He wasn’t sure what what it meant.
“I presume you’re here about the jewelry. Let’s see it.“
Diver Knights sketch
I wasn’t able to stay for my usual sketch group this week, but I was still able to make time for sketching. I ended up liking these two, so I brought them over to photoshop.
Life On Water: Delling in the Forest of Fate
The pillars were there as a warning. As a kid, Delling had heard stories of those who entered the foggy forest. Some stories spoke of the screams and the onset of madness, others spoke of the wanderer just disappearing, but all stories ended with the wanderer never returning. Delling needed to pass through. He had to speak to The Weavers.
Life on Water Sketch
A scrap station sketch in the Life on Water series.
Life on Water: Gifted Queen
Another character from the Life on Water series. The queen rules her watery kingdom with the aid of her foresight, but her gift has also left her blind and her eyes scarred.
Life on Water: Spirit Priest
The Priest from my Life on Water series.
